Not much to report

by

My apologies for being a tad late with this posting - it takes longer and longer to find newsworthy information on Studio 60 and I am not sure how far off that particular track I am allowed to go with my blogging. I can report that the petition is still going and is now at 16,000 signatures. In the bigger scheme of, 16,000 people is probably just a blip on the radar of TV viewers but it certainly heartens my soul to know that there are 15,999 other people out there who love the show and want to see it back on the air. All the comments are of the same ilk - witty writing, intelligent show and so on… but it does appear to be falling on deaf ears at NBC studio.
I will continue to research and hopefully have more news tomorrow.

About Watching Studio60

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was a show about making a show -- a Friday night sketch comedy living and dying by the ratings and the buzz and the bottom line. It also turned out to be about the ways that overinflated expectations and caustic criticism can doom a TV drama. Still, if you're a fan of great acting and Aaron Sorkin's way with dialog, there's a lot to love in Studio 60's sole season. Read here to look back at the show, and look forward at what the cast and creative powers are doing now.
