by
Schlamme and Lahti

Amazed congratulations to Thomas Schlamme, Studio 60 executive producer, and Christine Lahti, who played reporter Martha O’Dell in a few episodes, as they celebrate a whopping 24 years of marriage today. That’s pretty amazing even by the standards of ordinary mortals, but all the more impressive for creative types. They could have each had six or seven failed marriages in that amount of time. (Thanks to It’s All Good … Gossip! for the reminder.)

About Watching Studio60

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was a show about making a show -- a Friday night sketch comedy living and dying by the ratings and the buzz and the bottom line. It also turned out to be about the ways that overinflated expectations and caustic criticism can doom a TV drama. Read here to look back at the show, and look forward at what the cast and creative powers are doing now.
