Sets Being Dismantled

TV Squad is again the source of more news about Studio 60. It seems that the sets are being dismantled, which kills any hope we had that the show would be given a second season. As I reported before, the last 6 episodes are being aired, starting May 24th in the ER time slot of 10.00pm on Thursday evenings. Starting next Monday, I will begin a recap of all the pertinent plot lines and characters so that if you are so inclined you can watch the last 6 episodes and actually understand what is going on.
May 14th is an important date to put in your calendars. It’s the day that the networks announce what is in and what is out for next fall. So if you want to know what is happening to your favourite shows, stay tuned on May 14th.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was a show about making a show -- a Friday night sketch comedy living and dying by the ratings and the buzz and the bottom line. It also turned out to be about the ways that overinflated expectations and caustic criticism can doom a TV drama. Still, if you're a fan of great acting and Aaron Sorkin's way with dialog, there's a lot to love in Studio 60's sole season.
