The American Falstaff Society

So, as promised I tried to research but was unable to find any information about The American Falstaff Society. I did find a Falstaff Society assoicated with Bristol University English Department, and another that was based in New Orleans, but nothing that looked like it could be what Harriet was referring to.
So - I came to the conclusion it was invented and being used as a comedic vehicle for the character. And of course it worked.
If anybody knows anything about this society please be sure to let me know

This is funny. I am catching up on my episodes and just came across this line. Immediately I jumped on the internet to find out about this Flastaff society and yours was the first entry!
